God as Mother: Learn more about the famous 14th century English mystic, Julian of Norwich. Her Feast Day in The Episcopal Church is May 8. A session about her life and teachings will be offered at the Parish Community Center.
This service follows the Book of Common Prayer and is made up of hymns, readings, prayers, a sermon as well as the celebration of Holy Communion. The service will be followed by coffee hour.
The Thomas Merton Society is a group of individuals, from a variety of backgrounds, who meet to discuss the writings of Thomas Merton. Thomas Merton was a Trappist monk and author who died in 1968, his many books on prayer, spirituality, and faith have and continue to inspire millions around the world.
